Moon of the Month is a subscription in which you will receive 2 moons a month enclosed in one of my Moonscape photo cards. These will be sent by first class mail.
Not all moons are created equal. They come in phases.
The Moons of the Month will be mostly indigo, interspersed with seasonally dyed moons. Cloth will all be recycled and vintage, even antique at times. One moon will be large and the other small. The larger will be a 3-4” moon and the smaller a 1-2” moon. Overall pieces will be 7” x 8” and 4”X4” respectively. I will annotate the moon cloth for you each month (tell you about the fiber content, where I obtained it, the dye info, etc.).
What will you do with your moons? You can incorporate them into a project like the komebukuro bag we’ve been making. You can piece them into a larger mooncloth, adding to it throughout the year. You can embroider them or use them in journaling. You can keep one for yourself and send one to a friend- moon sisters and brothers we are! Anything is possible!
