I think one reason I didn’t get these into the shop earlier was that I wasn’t happy with the photos. Often photos don’t really convey well. I do my best but… wasn’t able to get these to convey the way I wanted them to and lost patience with it all. Oh well. I still really like the actual pieces. there are two versions here- ONE and TWO.

Version one is pretty straight forward-hand stitched, indigo dyed . Shibori moons and other experimentations.
Version two is two sided, with shibori dyed image on one side and a woven shibori moon on the other side. Bottom fringe is from the woven “warp”. Again, indigo and hand dyed. Pomegranate stick at top.

Lovely little hangings measure about 23” in length and 5” wide for version two and 6” for version one.
