In this two day indigo shibori dye workshop, we will engage in practicing basic shibori techniques along with some exciting moon making. Over the course of this two-day workshop, participants will have the opportunity to continue exploring the artistry of indigo and shibori dyeing using a broad selection of exquisite fabrics, which will include both beautiful vintage pieces and one-of-a-kind unique textiles.
Various shibori techniques, such as itajime, arashi, nui, and others, will be practiced, catering to both new and continuing students. The focus will be on creatively combining the various techniques to produce stunning results.

All materials and supplies are included. If you have your own special tools or supplies, feel free to bring them along.
The workshop welcomes beginners and long time practitioners-it’s a friendly environment where beginners learn alongside experienced practitioners!
Workshop price includes all the necessary materials, but feel free to bring along any fabric you may want to work with- just make sure it is a natural fiber (no poly,nylon or blends).
